QUMA, THE SMART ASS 3D
Japan-based SoftEther has developed a cool 3D motion-capture figure [JP] to create computer graphics and animations in 3D. Dubbed Quma, the human-like doll has a set of joints throughout its body, all of which are equipped with sensors and can be moved freely by the user: hold up the right arm for example, and the 3D figure on your computer screen will do the same, in real-time.
So Quma is essentially a mini 3D motion-capture device that makes it easier and more intuitive for designers and engineers to create 3D CG, for example for video games, robot applications, training and education simulations etc. Plugging the Quma into a USB port is enough – drivers or external power aren’t needed.

You saw it but you didn't know it....Introducing the 'Maxims of Behaviour' by Alexander Knox
Melbourne shines in winter and this year is no exception.
Fireworks will light up the Docklands every Friday in July. A seasonal artwork called 'Maxims of Behaviour' will illuminate the cityscape from dusk until late throughout winter. And Federation Square's annual winter celebration, Light in Winter, will kick into action.
Plus there’s the State of Design Festival, incorporating 72 Hours Urban Action at the Docklands, Melbourne Open House and Look.Stop.Shop – a design-oriented walking tour focussing on inspiring installations by some of the city’s design-minded businesses.
Close your eyes and count to ten....
Music takes us back in time....It's a form of time traveling.
Where were you when this wonderful song came on the radio for the first time?

In Tribute to Japan Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear Explosions by World Order.
Japanese pop group World Order introduce a new music video for their track “Machine Civilization”, produced in light of the recent earthquake tragedy in Japan. Of course the group is widely popular for its front man Genki Sudo, famous for his career as an MMA fighter turned musician. Genki offers some insight into the video below:
The unprecedented disasters unfolding in Japan; earthquakes, tsunami, and nuclear explosions, will somehow change things to come. And to send my message about this, I have expressed it here with WORLD ORDER.These disasters can be interpreted as a turning point for civilization. I think that we have arrived at a time of revolution, shared with all the people of the world, in today’s society, economy, and political systems.Incidents themselves are neutral.I believe that every single one of us, wandering through this deep darkness, can overcome anything, if only we let go of our fear, and face the it all in a positive light. The world is not going to change. Each one of us will change. And if we do, then yes, the world will be changed. It is darkest right before the dawn. Let’s all rise up to welcome the morning that will be so very bright for mankind.WE ARE ALL ONE

LDtK.'s Review on 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Melbourne Delivery

After five years of waiting Melbourne will finally gets its first FJ Cruiser on the streets.Set to go on sale in March, 2011. Pricing from AUD$35,000 to AUD$55, 000 people say.
LDtK.'s Review:
- A tough-looking off-roader.
- Built on a Prado platform.
- Cool stereo option.
- 3 screen wipers at your service.
- Interior needs more detail.
- Don't know about the suicide doors.
- Fuel economy is very bad for a 2 door vehicle.
- The price is too high if compared to other 4X4s.
- Last but not least, why other countries gets this 5 years earlier and so much cheaper to buy?!?!
